Recently, I've undertaken the project of scanning all of our old photographs into my computer. Here's a couple I unearthed yesterday. Here, Bear is just 14 months old. We'd gone back to Pennsylvania in late October to visit C's family. This was also just three weeks before I discovered that I was pregnant with Miss. Something really struck me about these photographs. For some reason, life seemed simpler back then. But it's not just that either; I felt moved by these images of me with my first born, and the unique bond we share as mother and son.
